Unable to add a participant to a questionnaire - Duplicate details

Problem

When attempting to add a participant to a questionnaire, or import a list of participants to a questionnaire, I am told that one or more of those participants exist.

However, they do not show up in the active list of participants when searched for.  

Solution

Participants that already exist in a questionnaire may not display on the list of participants because they have been set to inactive. The following steps will guide you through locating those inactive participants and show how to restore them to an active status.

To find archived participants, perform the following steps:
  1. Open the COI Builder page for the questionnaire you want to associate the participant with.
  2. Click on the Participants tab to access the list of participants.
  3. Use the filter labeled "Is Active" and set it to No.
  4. Enter in any additional filters you wish to use such as Emp. Number, Last Name, Email, etc.
  5. Click Search.
  6. Click the green circle button under the Actions column and confirm, and the participant will be restored.
