What is an unassigned patient?
Problem
How do you define an unassigned patient?
Solution
An unassigned patient is a patient that is unassigned, either at the TIN and NPI level or only at the NPI level. Unassigned patients may be assigned to a TIN and NPI using the patient assignment algorithm or the manual patient assignment import in the TIN/NPI Management tool.
To see a list of unassigned patients, use the search filters in the far right column of the TIN/NPI Management Review page (Pictured below) or run the quick report labeled "Attributed Patient Assignment Requires Attention".
