Medicare Beneficiary - How to Enroll and Turn On Data Sharing
The video and step-by-step guide provide you with instructions of how Medicare beneficiaries can enroll in Get Your Health Record and turn on Data Sharing. Data sharing will provide healthcare providers access to the patients Medicare Blue Button data along with their interactive Health History Form.
Step-by-step guide:
Enroll in Get Your Health Record and turn on Data Sharing
- Go to getyourhealthrecord.com
- Click Medicare Sync Account. You will be taken to the MyMedicare.gov login.
- Enter your MyMedicare.gov username and password. If you do not have a MyMedicare account, click Create Account and follow the prompts on screen.
Once logged in you will automatically be re-directed to Get Your Health Record.
- Click My Account in the top right of the screen, and click the Data Sharing
- Toggle Sharing on or off for your providers, and emergency and treatment sharing.
